I am Lisa, the one-person-show behind studio smål. Nice to meet you here! :)

My passion for creating has been with me since childhood. In 2016, I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Visual & Public Art at CSUMB Monterey Bay, California. Currently, I work part-time as a Visual Design Manager for an interior design company in Hamburg. I am happy to continue growing my creativity through my passion project, studio smål, and I am excited to see where this journey takes us!

My illustrations and designs are a mix of hand-painted aquarelle illustrations and digital techniques. Inspiration comes to me from everywhere, but I'm especially drawn to nature, wildlife, exploring cities, everyday objects, other creatives, and spreading kindness to everyone around me.
